About
The Southwest Renewable Energy Institute was formed in 2009 to work with private and public entities to find creative and collaborative solutions to pressing energy issues by increasing dialogue among affected parties and stakeholders.
Mission: To educate, facilitate and promote a clean and efficient energy future.
Vision: To become a widely recognized and accepted leader in research, education, and policy for renewable and clean energy solutions in the west.
Goals:
- To provide education on policies and technologies impacting the renewable energy industry by hosting preeminent events.
- To be an expert resource for clean energy products and perspectives and be relied upon by policy makers for objective analysis and opinions.
- To advance the understanding of policy for, and science of, renewable energy through the implementation of research and project grants and contracts.
